Free Desktop Clock 3.0

Replace the standard Windows clock with a new one that also displays the current day and date. Choose your favorite look from the several skins that are available, select the desired time zone and add alarms with custom MP3 audio. The tool also includes an atomic clock.

If you’re tired of the same ol’ Windows clock staring back at you every time you glance at the corner of your screen, Free Desktop Clock might just be the solution for you. With various customization options, this nifty little utility not only displays the time with flair, but also decks it out with the current date and day.

Once Free Desktop Clock is installed, you can choose from a variety of skins to suit your style: from fun and colorful to sleek and professional. Additionally, you can pick a colored or transparent background and make the clock always stay on top. If you like to keep your system time perfectly precise, you’ll be pleased to know that Free Desktop Clock even syncs with atomic clock servers.

Another great feature is its ability to run at startup, so you never have to fiddle around every time you power on your computer — just set it once, and you’re good to go. Along with the date, you can opt for a 12-hour or 24-hour format.

If you require something a bit more advanced, especially with an alarm clock feature to rouse you from midday naps or to keep track of those meeting times, the developer also has another product called Atomic Alarm Clock. But for pure, stylish time-telling on your desktop, Free Desktop Clock is a delightful, no-cost essential.
